Dr. Jordi Manauta specialises in conservative dentistry and esthetic restorations. He co-authored the book Layers together with Dr. Anna Salat DDS, published by Quintessence in 2012. The technique for arranging layers of composite resin, recreate the colour, opacity, shape, and surface abnormalities of natural tooth. Optimal stratification techniques not only create natural-looking beauty in restorations but also imitate the innate bioarchitecture of teeth, which is the foundation of functional and esthetic results.

Born in Mexico City, dr. Manauta graduated with a degree in dentistry from the Technological University of Mexico (UNITEC) and a master’s degree from the International University of Catalonia (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain. He has developed and continues on developing various materials and instruments for esthetic dentistry, and is a founder member of Styleitaliano study group.
