Root Canal Treatment at Dentcof

Preserving the tooth. Planning the future.
Root canal therapy isn’t just about removing infection—it’s about preserving what’s left and building a solid foundation for what comes next. At Dentcof, we approach every case with a long-term perspective, integrating endodontic treatment into a broader restorative plan.

1. Accurate Diagnosis and Digital Assessment

Seeing the whole picture.
We start with detailed diagnostics—high-resolution imaging, CBCT scans, and vitality testing. This allows us to confirm the need for root canal therapy and evaluate the tooth’s condition, both structurally and in relation to adjacent treatments.

2. Cleaning, Shaping, and Disinfection

Minimally invasive. Thoroughly cleaned.
Using modern endodontic systems and magnification, we remove infected tissue and shape the canals with precision. Irrigation and laser-assisted disinfection ensure complete removal of bacteria while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

3. Sealing and Restoration Planning

Not every root canal ends in a crown.
Once the canals are sealed, we assess what kind of restoration is appropriate. In many cases, especially when significant structure remains, a direct composite restoration is sufficient. For severely damaged teeth, we may use a CAD-designed post and core to rebuild internally before placing a crown.

Long-Term Thinking, Every Step of the Way

Unbiased decisions. Durable outcomes.
Our approach is always centered around longevity. We don’t place a crown by default—we consider function, structure, and future risk before deciding. Whether choosing between root canal therapy or implant placement, every decision is made without bias—based solely on what offers the best long-term value. Every treatment is tailored to the specific clinical scenario, avoiding overtreatment and preserving options.

Designed for Restoration, Not Just Removal

From clean-out to comeback.
Endodontic success isn’t just measured by what’s removed, but by how the tooth performs after. We plan the restoration from the beginning, ensuring that the tooth can function well and support future prosthetic work if needed.

Technology and Technique Combined

CAD-designed posts. Real-time guidance.
When structural damage requires rebuilding, we don’t rely on standard posts. We use custom-designed posts built from your tooth scan, ensuring optimal fit and stress distribution. This improves retention, reduces fracture risk, and aligns with your final prosthetic plan.

Root Canal Treatment – Frequently Asked Questions

Does every root canal-treated tooth need a crown?
Not always. If enough healthy structure remains, a composite restoration may be sufficient. A crown is recommended only when additional protection is needed for long-term function.

Is the treatment painful?
Root canal therapy is performed under local anesthesia and is typically pain-free. Modern techniques and tools reduce discomfort both during and after the procedure.

How long does a root canal-treated tooth last?
With proper restoration and maintenance, a root canal-treated tooth can last decades. Success depends on sealing, hygiene, and the quality of the final restoration.

What are signs I might need a root canal?
Persistent pain, sensitivity to heat or cold, swelling, discoloration, or a pimple on the gum may indicate infection inside the tooth.

How much does it cost?
Costs vary based on the number of canals, the complexity of the case, and the final restoration. A detailed plan is provided after diagnosis.
