Moving teeth with a purpose
Orthodontics moves your own teeth, with clear aligners or fixed braces, and its role depends on your case. On its own, it straightens crowded or spaced teeth and corrects a bite that doesn't meet well. As part of a larger plan, it follows the design of the final teeth: it moves teeth to where crowns, veneers or implants need them, so less tooth is prepared and every discipline works toward the same result. Most treatments take between 6 months and 2 years.

Diagnosis first
We take facial photos, scan your teeth and bite, and check jaw position, gums and bone. Active gum disease is treated before any tooth moves. Then we design the end result and show it in 3D and on your face, as a preview built from your plan. How your teeth and bone respond can change small details.

Aligners or braces, chosen for your case
Clear aligners suit many cases; others need fixed braces, or both in turn. The choice depends on the movements your teeth need and on how you live. Expect some discomfort for a few days after each adjustment. Brushing around brackets needs extra care: poor brushing can leave decay or white spots.

Teeth moved to where the plan needs them
When crowns, veneers or implants come later, we move teeth to where those restorations need them, so less prosthetic work is needed. We also level the gum line for the final smile. Sometimes implants serve as anchors: fixed points that other teeth are moved against.

Finished the way your plan says
Treatment ends as your plan sets out: with retainers and small refinements, or with veneers, crowns or implant crowns when the design includes them. We refine midlines, contacts and the curve of the smile, and keep the small asymmetries that give it character.

Which orthodontic treatments do you offer?+
Two: clear aligners and fixed braces. The choice depends on how complex your case is and what you prefer. Both are planned digitally from an analysis of your face.
How long does treatment take?+
Usually between 6 months and 2 years, depending on complexity. You get a detailed timeline after your diagnosis.
Are clear aligners as effective as braces?+
In many cases, yes. Some complex cases need braces, or a combination of both.
Does orthodontics also help my bite?+
Yes. It corrects how your teeth meet, which supports long-term stability and oral health. The look of your smile is one part of the result.
Will it hurt?+
Usually only a little. Expect discomfort for a few days after each adjustment; most people adapt quickly. We move teeth in controlled stages to keep it low.
Do I need retainers afterwards?+
Yes. Without them, teeth tend to move back. Yours are made from the final digital design, and we check them at your regular check-ups.
